yeah the base S60 is just a 2.5 there is no turbo and since the car is 3700 pounds its not going to be that quick
the turbo in the 2.5T is only peak 8lb boost but the R series and the T5 S60 are peak 14 lb boost and that rly gets the car going
they are still rly close cars far beyond anything most people have.

@dragonheart0313 haha lmao. i drive a 2006 BMW 325i . i know its no m3 but its still pretty quick. but i raced the 2006 volvo s60. just the base one. i beat them pretty bad so i expected the bmw to win this one. they should have put the volvo against the m5! that would have been a good race

the volvo took a cheap shot yes. but if you watch the whole video the volvo pulls away the entire time
regardless of the car, the driver makes the race, the car will never win the race
if you cant drive buying a farrari wont help itll just cost you a lot of money.

well the regular volvo s60 is slower than the m3 bmw
the T5 and the R volvos are the same class as the M3
as the r is the racing volvo the m3 is the racing bmw the T5 in this video is almost as good as the bmw but either way both cars rate almost exactly the same just the volvo is safer
both cars are featured on top gear
