MLBT is a tracked apc, it is relatively fast and has good off road capabilities. One you see with a turret, is a multi role vehicle, they can change armament really fast. MLBT was initially used for transport of mechanized infantry, so there are many configurations from combat support to engineering. The wheeled vehicle is BTR60 which is upgraded from 14.7mm machine gun to 30mm cannon. BTR is lighter but used much like MLBT.
