If i could afford it, I wouldn't mind a placebo therapy session, hell at least it's relaxing.
I'm not naive, I know it's all in your head but who cares? As long as it's not hurting anyone and she's not getting any of my money, everybody's happy.

Nothing is material. Everything is made of energy. Atoms are not material objects; they are pure energy. Reiki means "the universal energy." In quantum physics experiments, wherever we put our attention, the energy goes to. Reiki healers direct energy from The Field into the body of the one who needs energy balancing in the body. It's obvious that the people who are commenting here have not studied energy healing, or quantum physics. Crystals also amplify energy and are much more than stones.

all material life vibrates. It's about working with the vibratory properties of the stones for healing by introducing them into one's energy field/aura/body.

Can you make alot of money in this mumbo jumbo as I reckon I could do this with some rocks lying around and make up some story that these rocks are realigning/restoring energy or whatever, the reason I ask is due to the credit crunch and if gullible idiots are willing to pay for this nonsense then I want a peice of that pie!

that's 6 minutes of my life I will never get

Do not speak of which you have no enlightenment in. Do not doubt what you have not learned.

Whatever kind of practitioner you are there is always a placebo effect.

I have a suggestion where those crystals should go.

I'm not necessarily defending Reiki, but if it's placebo effect brings temporary relief to a sore back (for example), isn't that a good thing?
