The Crysis series has always been defined by bleeding-edge tech, each instalment a lucid demonstration of apex videogame visuals and the great pulsing brain powering successive CryEngines. In Crysis 3 we have the pinnacle - the undisputed best-looking game of all time - but beneath the glitz, Crytek's shooter isn't quite as progressive as it seems.

    The game runs fine on consoles...I have played Single and Multi and it is one of the best looking games for 360 and PS3...It's amazing what they have managed to do with 7 year old hardware...

    Far from it. The combat is fast, changeable and oh so much more dynamic than your standard shooter. It's definitely not a CoD-like shooting gallery. That said, it is less open than the original Crysis or more recent open-world shooters like Far Cry 3, but it's still an improvement over Crysis 2. Crysis 3 is rich and varied, and incredibly fun to play.
