  • This would probably be a Sunday lunchtime, Easter Monday or a certain dulcimer player's 60th birthday in Blaxhall Ship Inn. Clifford Arbon from Monuden used to sing this and learned it from his uncle It was collected by John Howson and a recording of Clifford is on Veteran CD. The original was performed by Harry Champion, written by Carted and Weston published by Francis, Day and Hunter 1902 - Simon Ritchie

  • My UNcle Joe used to sing this song. He was from Co Leitrim in Ireland
