    You give energy, you get less energy back. Best way hydrogen works is if you have a solar-panel charging up your gas reserves while parking.

    Note that electrolysis causes H2O -> O2 + 2 H2 and burning H2 causes the production of H2O So, by the laws of thermodynamics, you would not even be able to keep making H2.
