  • best night of my life hands down.

  • It was 37 years ago and some months that this gem was created in NY by Stevie for Jeff. Motown had other ideas and wouldn't let Stevie give it to Jeff. Now in NY they play it live for the first time ever together. How fitting. Give it up for the guitar solo - Jeff Beck rules!!! Period

  • Hey im taking nothing away from Stevie , he's the dogs ballocks,, but all truly great song writers are slick thieves too,,

  • the history of this song is that while Stevie went for a slash Jeff messed about on the keyboards and the drums and Stevie came back and said , hey man keep that shit going - Stevie then wrote the piano section and claimed the number as his own, this is why Beck has done it so often over the years to provoke him hoping Stevie would take him to court about it but he never has,,

  • Take me now! What an amazing treat, Jeff...you are THE MAN!!

  • well hell yes jeff beck gets **********

ten stars cause 5 is not enough!!

    I ADORE YOU JEFF!!!

  • Wonderful!! Jeff Beck, my hero!! Nobody can touch him!! I hope there are some video's from Fridays show with Jeff as well. Thanks great stuff!!

  • The not speaking was for about two years. It was over "Superstition". It turned out for the best, the re-cut of the song where Jeff was gonna sing it would have never been a hot like Stevie's version. They spoke in 1974 when Stevie gave Jeff some new tunes. "Thelonius" being one of them and it ended up on BLOW BY BLOW, Jeff's biggest album ever.

  • Heard a bit of it on NPR first, had to check it out so thanks a lot for posting even though it is a bit on the lo-fi register.

  • jeff's solo brought tears to my eyes....unreal!!

  • Legendary performance!

It's great to see the actual two finally perform together.
