"Make Me a Millionaire," the California Lotterys TV game show, awarded 12 lucky contestants a total of $167,000 in cash and prizes on this weeks show.
This weeks episode awarded two of the three Lucky Penny contestants with the cash equivalent of a new car. Carol Cunanan from San Bruno said she would use the money she won to pay off her own car and possibly donate to a few of her favorite charities like SPCA, Paralyzed Veterans and St. Judes Hospital. Shirley Burke was undecided on how she would spend her prize money.
The big winner of the afternoon was Sandra Barnes of Eureka who played the Safe Cracker game and walked away with $44,000. She explained how she would spend her prize, Ill probably just save it, I wont buy anything extravagant.
With the Make Me a Millionaire progressive jackpot increasing $200,000 each week, next weeks Millionaire game contestant will have a chance to win $2 million.
