Voicemail received after Soul-winning Marathon Cordes Lakes

I got this on my voice mail after we knocked 70% of the doors in Cordes Lakes, AZ, in one day. Haha. Our church had 22 people saved that day in 8 hours of pure soul-winning.

@Believing1Thomas - You are right. I'm just saying that in my IFB background, the term 'liberal' is tossed around to refer to people that disagree with us, and as far as NewSpring's music goes, maybe liberal is not the most accurate term - maybe 'modern' would be better - but for a Baptist layman, 'liberal' is fine. It's just a semantics issue if anything. I trust that you wouldn't endorse having a C-rock concert followed by "preaching" that sounds more like motivational speaking at church.

@cgy12telus - Liberal has different meanings, depending on your perspective, I guess. Part of the new mindset that says there are no absolutes perpetrated on the world by the 60's counter-culture.

From a Christian perspective, a LIBERAL (non-political) is one who denies some of the underlying truths of the faith, such as the deity of Christ, or His resurrection. Nothing to do with their type of music.

@Believing1Thomas Strictly defined, that's exactly what liberal means. However, Baptists like Steven and myself will use the word to mean folks that use different versions, different music, don't evangelize, teach heresy, etc. As far as NewSpring goes...as I understand it, they use CCM, and so, as far as I am concerned, they are "liberal" and I wouldn't go there. But sure, Newspring might not be liberal based on the strict definition.

i like soul winning but most preachers dont preach the truth like acts 2 38 where the early church started and when people asked how to be saved peter told them to repent and be babtized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost acts 2 38 every new convert was babtized like this for the first 200 years until man tried to change it
