Tiffany - these arms of mine
Album : Dreams never die

(Yes, this is an Otis Redding cover.)

These arms of mine
They are lonely
Lonely and feeling blue
These arms of mine
They are yearning
Yearning from wanting you

And if you, would let
them hold, hold you
Oh how grateful I will be

These arms of mine
They are burning
Burning from wanting you
These arms of mine
They are wanting
Wanting to hold you

And if you, would
let them hold, hold,
hold you
Oh how grateful I will be

These arms of mine
They are burning
Burning from wanting you
These arms of mine
They are wanting
Wanting to hold you

And if you would let
them hold, hold you
Oh what a night it would be
Come on, come on now baby
I'll be your woman
Just be my lover
I need me somebody
Somebody to treat me right
Oh, I need your arms
Loving arms to hold me tight
I want to know if you
want me, need me, love
me, be mine tonight

  • Wow, it sounds like Tiffany recorded this at her favorite Karaoke bar! Nothing against her, she sounds pretty decent, and truthfully, she sounds phenomenal for a pop princess. I admit, I expected the worst and was pleasantly surprised. But the music and backing vocals...yikes.

The best cover out there? No. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I respectfully disagree.

    Thanks for posting!

  • Even if I absolutely love Tiffany and I posted this video, I have to agree with you.

Much of the music on Dreams never Die sounds tacky and cheap (not the mention some of the lyrics) but vocal-wise Tiffany is at her top here.

    It's not a bad cover, but it's ... cheap.

  • Does anyone know whether or not Susan Tedeschi has ever recored this song? If so, where could I find it.....maybe here? show us your majic cyberbard.....

  • Did you read my mind? :D I always did think that this song would be perfect for Susan to cover. But so far, she hasn't covered it yet and it doesn't seem to be part of her live sets either.

  • would like to hear, Dreams Never Die by Tiffany

  • I'll see what I can do. :)

  • This is the Best!

  • I think it's fabulous!

  • Wow! Love It!

  • Luvly voice

  • @ackpiack: I like everything about thise except for the bacground vocals at the end.

i think she did an acceptable job singing this..

  • Wow I didn't realize she could actually sing... though picking this song was a mistake... like trying to cover Stevie Wonder or Freddie Mercury... but she takes a decent stab at it...

  • i think she sounds pretty dayum good, but then again..i really like the song, no matter who sings it and well enough to make it my opening song on my bebo page. soooooo...

    thanks for posting it

  • Vocals are fantastic! I'm plesantly surprised.

But the music could have been more organic. You cant tell it's a synth, drum machine & guitar.

    Other than that,I likey.

  • didn't expect this!very good cover,job well done tiffany

  • brill, how can anyone beat this , so perfect & sang from the heart, give it all
