Dancers To A Discordant System - Meshuggah (Guitar Cover)

Thought I'd make a video of this song as I'm quite proud of the fact I managed to learn it by memory. There are a few mistakes but I think it's good enough for YouTube. There's one section that begins at 3:40 where I'm playing a wrong note so I'll have to sort that out. ESP LTD SC607B to ART Studio V3 preamp to M-Audio Firewire Solo

Audio was done in Logic Pro 8 and the guitar is running through a preset in Amplitube 2. My playing is panned slightly left and the track is slightly right to give some coherence without too much seperation.

Constructive criticism welcome. Flaming is allowed. It gives me lulz. Enjoy.

Nice cover! Q: How did you exactly sync the video with the recording? I'm still struggling with that. Thnxs!

@Bwick99 Well my hand tapping at the start helped my align the streams properly. As for maintaining sync, I didn't need to do anything special in my case. I dragged the video and audio into Logic and it was fine. If you're using a DAW or video editing program, I'm guessing you just gotta make sure that you've selected the correct frame rate for the video and the correct sample rate for the audio.

Im currently learning this myself and I must say, anyone who learns this beast from start to finish should get a medal. Im only 4:00 in and its been the most challenging thing Ive tried so far but also very satisfying. Its like playing simon says on acid.

@ManiacSerialKilleR If you meant that E was literally on 1st (in which case this would be in Drop Eb), then yes, I think so, I just googled it and apparently this is the correct tuning. If you meant that as an example, and were asking whether this was a drop tuning or one where "you can hold a power chord on one fret", then you were contradicting yourself, these are both descriptions of drop tunings.
