AMTK #14 & UP #1996(SP Heritage Unit)

Well It is Saturday & I thought since this is a railfan weekend for me, I had decided to make a run for the tracks, first at Willsburg Jct. Amtrak #122 was leading #14, the Coast Starlight to Seattle, and look what else is going to Seattle with him, Cascades #467 is trailing, he might have had engine problems, but this train wasn't a favorite for me, check out the second clip, I was coming back from my ride along the Springwater Corridor, and notice that the Z-Train was led by something common here, but I got a good notice, UP #1996 was leading the Z-Train, I was late for him under the bridge and couldn't make it to Oak St. In time, so I had a good back up plan since I wanted to catch it so badly. "Would I want to come home late & just go and see if I get any luck in Oregon City?" But I the answer wasn't no, I had decided to make a run to Oregon City for him, about 3 miles worth of a ride, arrived at the only RR crossing in the area, and I didn't have time to set up, so, I was quick to go to a lower level after the gates went down, got the camera, and just as he was approaching the crossing, She was finally filmed which made my day, got a couple angles of her, she was at Clackamas a couple minutes before I arrived, but I finally got to see her in the Southern Pacific Heritage Paint, I think there was a female engineer or conductor onboard which was a suprise, but, oh my goodness, as a new UP railfan, I can't believe I got her, just wait until I see "The Katy". This train should be going to Los Angeles but i'm not sure, could be, but, with tired legs after riding 13 miles in one day, I can definatly rest and think about my next Kelso trip which is Sunday.

Well, Amtrak Cascades #467 is heading for Seattle to work with the Amtrak Cascades Service. Apparently, I saw him today trailing with the Empire Builder. Seems like that engine will need to go to Beach Grove, Indiana for some sort of Overhaul. Anyways, Nice Catch of SP 1996.
