At this point, they measured very close to the paper dinner napkin template of 6 1/2" and fit nicely into my wicker napkin box that sits on my counter. At these measurements, I was able to squeeze 4 napkins out of a yard of fabric. I am still working on the last half now. Next project is to make these for Christmas presents for friends with patterns tailored to their interests or kitchen decor. Another option is to make personalized napkin rings to encourage reuse of coth napkins before washing
