Man....my brains been off the hook the past couple weeks....been wanting a lever action rifle, then changed my mind to a Ruger 10/22 and back and forth over and over. And now I decided I need a new bow. :D I haven't shot a bow in years and only hunted with one a few times. I miss the thrill and reward of hitting targets with one.

@MrKyRow ive never killed a deer with a bow and ive ben bowhunting for 2 years... i think it may be because im only 14 and cant sit still :p

actually, to be exact Texas is the most populated place of deer, and we still have bag limits its just to keep a good management program. But hogs there are no bag limits

@manner1232 Uh... No limit on doe actually sounds awesome. I could literally subsist on venison and not pay another dime for a year's worth of meat.

most states the legal limit is around 40 pounds, im 15 and shoot 70 pounds but ive been shooting forever, alot of people shoot between 50-60 with the new bows that are fast

Ive also recently started bowhunting and its definitely better than with a rifle, but how are you able to shoot so many Ive only heard of people getting to shoot one deer per season???

@manner1232 The most populated state in the country with houses in areas on 5 acre lots with a 450' no shoot zone from a dwelling allowed the deer population to explode. New law allows bowhunters to hunt within 150' from a dwelling now. Also, a lot of parks that were closed to hunting are now allowing hunting... when you have no bag limit, you know there must be a problem. Motorists are being killed by deer/auto accidents, Something had to be done!
