A Girl In Port-Okkervil River (Cover)

So I saw this band in concert only because they opened for New Pornographers... but damn they must have put on one of the best shows I have ever seen. This song, in particular, sent chills down my spine when it was performed. I tried my hardest to recreate this experience but it just isn't possible. Here's my take, enjoy, rip it apart.

you did a nice job.. wills voice has a much more piercing tonality (ps, okkervil river is @#$ing amazing, and will sheff is my idol, seriously, they are divine) to it and yours is much more dull, so if i were stuck up i would say that you butchered it because your voice doesn't really fit... but everyone has their own interpretations and styles... and it sounds good, so i would have to say that i like it in it's own way =]

Man I started out covering this song, cause it seemed like the easiest, but over time of practicing it's definitely become one one of my favorites of theres, and your version may not be as good as Wills but it's darn near the second best thing nicely done.
