This song is TOTALLY about heroin. "Racing through my veins, no one else can heal my pain". That doesn't make it a bad song, its a really good song actually. Its really about how you interpret it. It can be about heroin, being madly in love with someone, etc.

@tyranist It's not about heroin, that's a bullshit rumor. It's about a girl and how she's in and out of a guy's life. Why Leigh Nash is singing it, who knows, but it's pretty wild anyway.

Total pants. Her general air of " i have something shoved up my wotsit, hence the inane grin" doesn't fit the subject matter of the song. Some covers just don't work, only a heroin addict can truly sing about heroin, that's the just way it is. Her voice may be okay if she was singing about flowers or bumblebees or some shite like that perhaps.
