Professor Erskine's image... forever ruined in my mind

Well, In a way, they did sweeps. Just not a full sweep.
If you remembered the scene from the first book when Katniss described the experience with Gale in the woods when a little boy was killed by the hovercraft, and a smaller girl taken away, who was later shown to have become an Avox.
I'm a HG nerd too <3

That tune at the end of the trailer? Is that Rue's?
Because I know how Katniss and Rue communicated while they were away was the Mockingjay, and they used what the book described as "a 4-note tune"
Just something I've noticed.

All black people don't look the same. I know she's black. I just didn't imagine her looking like that specific actress they used.
-
@RokBand3 Because she's black? Even know she's black in the book? You obviously don't read properly.

I wish people who haven't read the book could FUCK OFF!

when i watch the trailer - i see shots and style elements lifted from so many other films(battle royale,tron(2010),AI,.. and many many more) and while i understand that artists do take inspiration from other artists- some of the shots in this trailer seemed a bit lazy and uninspired - i dont know, just a vibe i got! but it seems to miss the mark a bit in my mind : )

i really didn't picture president snow at all like that i pictured someone like Will Ferrell as Mugatu in zoolander he looks like a Capitol

one month to go!
I think the hovercraft scene is not a sweep, but when they see the red headed girl being captured.
I don't remember ever reading that the capitol does sweeps.
And I thought the Capitol ignored District Twelve as long as they produced their coal products.
Sorry, im just really fussy and somewhat a Hunger Games nerdatron.
HAPPY HUNGER GAMES!
Shit, I mean "Goodbye" hehehe.

@Alex2Times I did because the book said: (Direct quote from page 98 bottom paragraph): "She's the Twelve-year-old, the one who reminded me so of Prim on stature. Up close she looks about ten. She has bright, dark eyes and satiny BROWN skin." 'satiny' means 'smooth' if you will.
so yeah.... she is black, and there is nothing of intent or accidental purpose of it being even slightly preliminarily racist.
