Heh... I remember this, too. You have to applaud them for the highest concept cereal ad I think ever was... Multiple characters introduced, a Broadway-like musical finish... But oddly, the entire concept crashed. I don't think the stoned 70's world was ready for characters named "Cow Mumble" and such. Still, it's a fascinating failure. Lesson learned ? It's just *cereal* for pete's sake. Keep it simple.

How many years did this cereal last?
My brother and I loved it. Also wasnt there another Freakies cereal that came out soon after the other original. Super Freakies or something?

bet he's worth more than you think he is!! Look him up on ebay and you might get a bit of cash for him!! If you have all 7 of them, someone is asking $100 for them!

I never had some of this stuff as a kid, but I sure in heck remember these commercials...even recalling the darn lyrics, lol. What was the consistency of the cereal, like glorified Cheeri-O's?

I remember these!! Man, it's been sooo long! I had a couple of the toys from the box and a magnet too!

What a shame the kids of today can't have all this sugary fun with a prize in the box! Now there are stiff rulse about this sort of advertising. And where have all the Choco-diles gone?
