Anyway, if your tfillin and mezzuzahs are OK, I would check out the sofer who wrote them, as sometimes the defect is in him, not the klaf. Also, check if the sale was kosher. Or, if it's easier, just replace them, but make sure the sofer and sale are OK.
As for israelijewboy's comment that you are not Jewish. To that I say that stirs11 is definitely Jewish. Goyim don't have such major battles raging within them. Refuah shleymah, stirs.

The Rambam is purposefully specific that KILLED disqualifies to teach us that all other deaths does not disqualify. Please use nicer language as we are discussing holy things. Do you know that alot of the Prophets in Nach were rejected and imprisoned. Now it's considered heretical to reject them. Have you considered getting your tfillin and mezuzahs checked. I mean that nicely.
If your next post contains no expletives, I'll consider that a sign that you don't need them checked.

It is a regular every-day ceremony of opening daily prayer, at regular time, when Rebbe was coming to pray.
