I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Steve Clark on Def Leppard's Hysteria tour (February 08, 1988)
at the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, TN. He was a good-natured person who really enjoyed taking the time to chat with the fans. Other than Ace Frehley and Vinnie Vincent of KISS, Steve was one of my favorite guitarist to watch in concert.
Rest In Peace Steve!!!!! You will be greatly missed!!!!
