I believe it is best to reclaim personal POWER by seeking and applying real knowledge, not the the prevailing status quo ideology that may or may not be right for your family. The decisions you make or do not make will affect baby for their entire life!

  • So beautiful!

  • @ariannadubovikmusic love & blessings to you

  • Your children are absolutely beautiful!

  • @bluefirekin thank you ;-]

  • Loved this! I am a labor and delivery nurse in a hospital but had both my babies at home with the help of awesome midwives. The number one most important aspect of the birth process I believe is knowledge. People must inform themselves of all aspects of the process BEFORE they deliver so that they can make the best informed decisions possible during the heat of the moment. Having calm, centered and knowledgable support is also optimum :-) Congrats Troy and Mrs. CHN! Your family is precious!

  • @zwiggyi thanks you for the encouragement!

    may all beings be happy!

  • This was awesome, I had my 4 babies at home, and believe hospitals are not for natural healthy births. Good to see the 2 examples. Hospitals have thier place-in an emergency!

  • Excellent note Master.

  • @kiatmac1 A newborn can stay alive underwater even after birth as long as the placenta hasn't separated from the uterine wall and the umbilical cord is still attached to the baby. It usually takes some time before the placenta separates, so the baby is still able to get oxygen through the umbilical cord even after it's born. The baby has been in water since it was conceived so it's used to being in water.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. Although it has been proven that home birth is the safest option with low risk birth, a hospital is safest for high risk birth. And it doesn't matter so much WHERE you have your baby as it does that you educate yourself, be informed and question EVERYTHING because as you said, knowledge IS power. The key problem in the USA is that most people leave their births in the hands of a hospital staff, rather than educating themselves and making informed choices.
