sounds like the JZ engine family, only much smoother..
-
why does the 250 sound so much better than 350
-
dude why would u try and build a is 250 what r u going to pull a civic wow no point
-
@ankurman20 206 auto or manual? any weight reduction is nice in my opinion. the spare tire is pretty heavy so it could be like getting a carbon fiber hood or trunk.
-
@younger619 should take you 1-2 hours tops
-
there is nothing special......
-
@k2sty1 you can still drive a low powerd car without a full licence?

how much more HP does the car make now?
isnt stock around 200~~
my mums getting his and i have to drive it for around 2 years (i dont have full license in australia, so i have to drive a non force inducted car, and a car under 200KW (around 270HP i think)
so im wondering wat mods i can make to the car so its just a little faster
the stock car is kinda slow, also are there any spare tyres or stuff i can take out to make the car lighter??
thanks

well i dont know how different the Australian version of the IS is but i know that the US version is 206 hp stock. This exhaust doesnt really add much of anything. the forums that i read state the the most they add is like 2-3hps so not a big diff. the thing that i do feel is the intake. i can actually feel the intake make it go a bit faster.
And as for making the car lighter. Lexus is a luxury car which equal mass weight no matter what. taking out the spare tire isnt going to do jack squat.

Nope not at all... there are two bolts that are connecting the stock axleback just remove those and remove the rubbery thing that holds the exhaust inplace and swap.. and your done.
