There is something seriously wrong with peoples brains.

I was a psychiatric nurse for years & interviewed hundreds of "clients" in a huge "mental institution" in Massachusetts.

My job was to write down their histories & "disorders" for evaluation.

Today, when I talk to "ordinary" people about political events, I see the same glaze come over their eyes.

They literally short circuit.

Tell them what is actually going on & they panic.

They would rather shop.

They don't WANT to know.
