Part 1 of the November 5th drop fees campaign at York University and in Toronto at U of T and Queens Park. this video includes footage from 11am-12:30pm. Footage includes early events within Vari Hall at York university with YFS president Krisna Saravanamuttu rallying the crowd, a protester commenting on the event at the corner of Spinda and Bloor, and a representative from the Philippine community who speaks about poverty and education.

  • Me as a tax payer, I demand that more of my tax dollars are diverted to support education. Ideally, I want a system similar to Denmark and France, where University is almost entirely funded by tax dollars.

    I make a decent living, and I demand some of my money is spend to help young people and give them the opportunity to make a future for themselves. It's the Canadian way ! It ought to be anyway.

    Spend the money wisely though, and keep waste to a minimum.
