@SheuhX You have to get the timing right, it's pretty tight but the damage and stun damage is very rewarding, just keep on trying until you get it!

I miss the traditionally animated fighting games. Street Fighter IV is great in its own respect, by the animation doesn't quite match the expression of hand-done animation.

@gemini4lyfe3001 That walk forward is because he's buffering the first quarter circle forward for the super, then letting the stick return to neutral so he gets stand short instead of her towards+short normal, so because there's a slight delay between inputting the directions and the short, Makoto will walk forward slightly. It's not a deliberate part of the move that he failed to explain, it's just an effect of the way it needs to be executed.

at 0:48 standing mk alone didnt give u range on her super .....u walked very briefly and mk kara super....i know this is 4 yrs old but damn am i da only 1 who noticed dat error in ur explanation?

someone please tell me how to do the kara grab or w.e. and why everytime i do (super 2)abare tosanami after the heavy (slap thing) my opponent can always block during her first kick of of the special going down. and someitmes after my grab i can't even slap the guy cause they're already able to block. i dunno someone please tell me what i am doing wrpong. is there any cancelling in doing abare tosonami? and it could be cause im using a ps2 controller. SOMEONE TELL ME!!

Kara means to start a new move by interrupting another. So the Karakusa stops the LK from finishing but gain the range Makoto moved forward briefly from LK.
The Fierce Punch xx Abare Tosanami will only work from mid-screen and back. Any further and it won't connect.

Lastly, you need to practice the timing of the Fierce Punch after the Karakusa to get it right unfortunately. Too late and they can block.
