If we are finished, IF we are diminished, IF we do not have any root in our people, Why all the fuss?Why put PMOI on the table for almost all Political dialogues? Why try to use PMOI in every single interaction with EU and US when it comes to the nuclear issues? Why pay more than 130 billion dollars to companies and hackers and Iranian intelligence recurred Iranians to demonize , foul and deface the PMOI for the past 30 years, why such huge investment in defacing the moment that Tehran claims to have eradicated.?
Answer to this question is : PMOI has been in the past 40 years the sole progressive, pluralistic,and democratic opposition movement hat was organized and favorable from 1979 till 1988 before it was massacred in numbers in Iran. Its main newspaper had the publishing line of at least 600 000 whilst this toppled the official KEYHAN at the time. only in One day it manged to gather 500 000 people in Central Tehran at ta time when not all mistrusted the Religious fascism as they do today! At the time when Khomein was so sacred that his face had been seen in the moon and for many locals that meant GOD on Earth and whilst the Iranian constitution was abducted into a religious fanatic scroll of right doings and wrong doings -the PMOI were the first brave enough to announce their rejection of such abuse of power only to have their members and leaders once again killed or captured and put into prison. They insisted on using the remaining Democracy under that despotic mask of religious intolerance that they stood on streets with mobile book stances to inform the people of their rights whilst they were attacked bu thugs - as thugs attacked protesters on the streets today, ...this continued till Khomein issued a Fatwa against the PMOI. All have to be eradicated, all their belongings and relatives are waging war against god and have to be eradicated by any means possible. The best way is ti inflict pain on them.." was khomin's letter to his son.But what of today?? Why should the intellectual world of today believe all the fake propaganda produced then? Specially now that after 30 years all the PMOI has been saying about the "torture, rape and ferocity of this religions regime" have been proved to the public on the streets! Who is the enemy?
