Excerpt from the concert DVD 'Old School Freight Train Live at the Mystic,' which captures the bluegrass band performing at McNear's Mystic Theatre in Petaluma, California. This clip features OSFT performing the songs 'Henry Brown' in concert and 'Run' live in the studios of KRSH Radio in Santa Rosa.

Old School Freight Train, from Charlottesville, Virginia, is comprised of the vocals and songwriting talent of guitarist Jesse Harper, the mandolin stylings of Pete Frostic, Ben Krakauer's banjo, the fiddling of Nate Leath and upright bass of Darrell Muller.

  • I don't really think that Pete plays like Thile. Though there is some influence there, I think there is a bit more traditional influence and a bit from Grisman.
