Jim TV Squatter Scam

I received a new REO listing today, and at first glance it looked mundane - until I ran into the neighbors. This so-called tenant paid one month's rent up front, plus a half-month for security deposit, and has lived there at least six months so far. When the landlord came by to collect the rent, the tenant called the police and filed a burglary report, and then got a restraining order against the landlord. I guess I'm next up?
