you find it cruel when other animals kill each other for food but you don't find anything wrong with people hunting animals for sports and coats?
the human race is such an interesting group.......

I remember back in my freshwater days having algae eaters that got so big and they started to kill the goldfish by sicking on their sides until their little intestines and shit were coming out of the sides.
Sometimes fish just don't get along. Saltwater obviously has a lot more incompatible fish. People should research before mixing expensive fish together and expecting a refund when shit like this happens.
Mantis Shrimp are effing crazy. Though I bet that tomater was picking on the shrimp.

@mikethebike7 Exactly my friend.. very nice point !! Unfortunately most of the people here are too idiots to understand your point... Most of them say the unoriginal "this is nature".. Oh, and most of them are little weak shits that like playing tough and being cruel... its the fashion, being cruel nowadays think that makes them cool...

@BodyHeadBanger you're obviously not a very thoughtful fishkeeper if you let your algae eaters starve. how your ill informed comment took one of the top positions is baffling. "sometimes fish just don't get along". jeez. as a fishkeeper you should know what fish get along and for what reason. do some research.

@IsOneFunkyNoob Great Comment. Very true
You really need more substrate in the bottom of that tank. Like, several inches of it, or the mantis shrimp wont have anywhere to go, hide or moult. It'll eventually die from stress.
