January 2012 SOLAR STORMS SOLAR FLARES BE PREPARED!

Not trying to be a doom & gloomer, experts predicted these current solar storms and the best advice they give? BE PREPARED! Be wise with your tax refund checks or extra money. Don't splurge on unneccessary crap. Something as simple as spending a few bucks on a few cases of bottled water, canned food & first aid stuff you can get inexpensively can mean the difference between starving to death or surviving a solar storm flare that kicks our asses back to the stone age for God knows how long.

@LTD55 Well, then NASA must be in on your conspiracy theory because they just issued a report and video of another massive solar flare & CME yesterday (27th) at 1:13 in the afternoon that lasted nearly 15 minutes. The only reason this hasn't made headline news is because all initial reports is that its not aimed at Earth but they are monitoring it. Not panicmongering, this is being educated. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to understand what happens to Satellites/Electronics from a Solar Flare

@chefyusufshow Banks would most definately be shut down and ATMS too, so we have to keep cash on hand. Interesting to point out the value of silver and gold too. The barter system could be implemented during this time. People trading family heirlooms for antibotics and heart medications.

@rololoy2 Nope not saying that at all. It's just that after reading my what I was going to post the last line about the glasses popped into my head as playful pun directed at myself. I can hardly help from putting a twist on things it's in my nature. When I was younger I'd wake up more than a few times out of a dead sleep and glance at my LED alarm clock that when reflected off the table read HELL - or 11:34, then a couple seconds later the time changed to 11:35 - or SELL. It was alarming.

@JacksonsFoodSto We can ride it out and cope if we as a society prepare for the worst. Its like most people dont want to think about planning their funerals even though we know it will happen eventually. The same scenario with these kinds of disasters. Alot of people believe if they ignore the signs and warnings it will all go away or someone else will take on the problem and figure it out. New Orleans is a perfect example. It took the Red Cross weeks to arrive with relief. People dont prepare.
