this is a great song, just listen to the theology in it! what a treasure to find it on youtube.

Troy Burns was The Inspirations' first official bass singer, but I liked his lead singing better, I do believe. Having said that, he would sing bass occasionally during the 70s and 80s on certain songs, and I must say that he could get pretty low!
I suppose my favorite arrangement of The Inspirations was during the mid-70s: Archie Watkins, Troy Burns, Eddie Dietz, and Mike Holcomb--with Jack Laws thrown in there, too!

Solid Christian men, all around. There are no more groups out there that sing doctrine in there songs. I think the only other ones that I know of are The McKameys. Sad to think about what has happend to S.G.M.

Matt left to resolve some personal issues.(nothing bad so please dont start rumors) Matt is preaching and doing well. Please keep him in your prayers. Matt was a very GOOD guy. He will be missed.

Yes this is an old version but wonderful....if you have ever been in an auditorium and heard Mike hit the last 8 notes of "hide me oh blessed rock of ages" you have felt the room vibrate it is a sould stirring thing you want to hear over and over.

This was recorded at Heritage USA during the Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker PTL heyday. I don't know if it was ever made into a video for purchase or not.
