It is a commonly held assumption, taken for granted by the majority, that we have the freedom of speech and expression in the United States. This freedom, we believe, includes the freedom to voice protest against injustice. On tonight's show, we explore the disturbing limits to these freedoms imposed by the government against individuals and groups who peacefully and nonviolently strive for social change and social justice.
