I believe Tankentai was okay if you liked to see your skills carried out.

The fact that you can visually see your skills carried out from a character was sorta exciting.

I'm sure Tankentai will make its way to Ace.

I totally agree. I actually like front view. Reason for that being, its easier on you when you're making your game. Side view systems require way too many graphics! I just like tinkering around with the program. And I'm also a fan of the Ken to Mahou to Gakuen Mono games, and those are all front view.

Then again, we keep getting the front view because Dragon Quest is more popular than Final Fantasy over in Japan. It's also less graphics heavy if you think about it. Less important, Isabelle's face is hilarious.

@Crazetex I agree. Tanketai is horribly made. Used WAY too much by RPG Maker VX users by now I could call that battle system as well cliche as hell.
