It's the male lion's job to patrol the territory by roaring and Scent Marking on bushes and trees.

I like lions because they are my number 1 animal of all time 2 to the cheetah,and 3 the tiger.

Many of the fight scenes are the same, in different "documentaries," because institutions like Nat. Geo have millions of hours of footage they can draw upon, to patch together "new" series, depending on the "focus" of the programmers, editors, and/or commercial interest...

The Preamble to this video explicitely said: "This is a story..." That is, they're trying to tell a "fuller story," & that means not all frames, much less all fighting scenes, must be connected or be newly shot footage...

My male dogs do the same thing lol ..even that same 2 step dance lions do w/ their back paws. But when another dog pees on our street, my dogs marks they're territory & pee right over it heheh! All the female dogs on our street are in sync like a pride and my 2 dogs r the only males so they rule

Why are ALL male lion fights the from the same documentaries you've seen 10-15 years ago??? I wish they would actually get some new fights on.
