@Tiziano182 yes the 2.3 software will make it way much faster than 1.5 it will be almost a diferent phone in speed.. thats one of the advantage of the android device you always be able to make it faster and customizable trust me you will be surprised if you want a better device than cliq about the same price buy an samsung spica i have it and its a great phone

@Tiziano182 well as you say its much faster than the cliq but the cliq can be performed as what you want in your device example you want to have twiter i your main screen but also you want facebook in the same screen.. well you can perform the widget for twiter and make it smalle so you can see you facebook in the same screen (cliq have 5 screens) iphone its to much limitated and you cant open a lot of aplications like android does.. also android have millions of aplications for free..

Motorola Cliq uses Android software 1.5" so it says the description.. im planing on getting it.. with 2.3 is better? what do you recomend?.. i have an old iphone 3g!.. im sick of it..

It can be officially upgraded to 2.1. Any other updates require rooting the phone and using a ROM
