Oh God. I just got bitch slapped by nostalgia! <3
I remember getting up early on Saturdays to watch this, even if I was at a friend's house spending the night. LOL
Thank you for posting this, and letting me re-live my childhood! <3

SUPAHH FIGHTING ROBAH! MEGAMAN
-
Megaman & Rush = Casshern & Friender ;)
-
Japanese version of the song would be SUPA FIGHITNGA ROBOTO
-
I wonder what type of robot he was
-
@AncientFuturist Alright then. Considering I haven't played that one, I wouldn't have known that.
-
@NeoBattousaiGX Actually, I even have proof. Wily states exactly what Zero is for in Megaman the Power Fighters 2. By then he's already built King, the first intended replacement for Bass, and he says the reason for building Zero is to replace Bass for the role of killing Megaman.
-
@NeoBattousaiGX How is Vile an update to Bass? Vile is one of the Reploid based on Dr. Cain's reproductions of X's technology -- hence why he could go Maverick in the first place. As for your certainty to that Zero is somehow an update to Protoman without even playing all the games, I'm a bit confused. Zero is more an update to Bass than to Protoman or anyone else. He runs off Bassnium like Bass, has the energy symbols like Bass, and his armor is segmented, like Bass. He's just Megaman killer 2.
-
@AncientFuturist Keiji Inafune's original scrapped intentions are irrelevant. As far as final continuity goes, it stands to reason that Zero is to Protoman as X is to Rock, just like Vile is to Bass. An update can be made during the original's lifespan. Just look at how Windows 8 is already coming, while 7 is still young.
-
@NeoBattousaiGX Zero was originally intended by Keija Inafune to BE X. It's only because Zero didn't look enough like Megaman that he became the deuteragonist.
-
Because Megaman himself is an update of Protoman. Protoman is defective -- he is set to explode not far from the Megaman series itself due to a faulty energy core. Not to mention, Wily's a narcissist. Why would he base anyone on one of his sworn enemies? And I know, you're basing it on the colour -- but in Japan, the "Red/Blue" colour scheme is everywhere. Sonic and Knuckles, Battlefield, Phoenix Wright and Edgeworth... It just denotes personality. To further discredit your claim:
Haha. At first I mistakenly called Protoman "Zero." Guess it's 'cuz I played a Megaman X game (can't remember which but what I know is that I played it in the PS1) first.

@dhathor An understandable mistake. I know I called Zero Protoman when I first saw him. They both wear a lot of red and Zero's got long yellow hair reminiscent of Proto's yellow scarf. And they're both awesome.
