Eri's '10 Wishes. . . } - { Christmas Wishlist 2010

I don't know if anyone's really hoping for me to post a wishlist, but this year, I definitely have some wishes.

The Rules
Step One
#Make a video like this one. The video description should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love an icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
# If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
# Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in the video description so that the holiday joy will spread.
#Post your Wishlist Project video as a video response to this one so everyone can find the videos in one place.

Step Two
# Surf around Youtube to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
# If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. You don't need to claim that you're doing something for someone-if they get more than one of something they wanted, fantastic! Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My Wishlist:

1. A job. For me, this is the biggest wish I really have right now. If I could just get a job someplace I like (namely a video game-selling store), I know my life could finally start turning around for the better, and I wouldn't feel depressed, useless and unmotivated in everything.
2. To regain my vidding inspiration. I feel like my videos have been rather weak lately. Regular tribute videos seem to do fine, but my ability to tell a story with a video has now become an inability, which really saddens me...
3. To have great enough editing and masking skills to collab with the editor I admire most at present, MissAlyvia. Currently, my skills are lacking (ESPECIALLY compared to hers), so I wouldn't dream of asking to do one. But once my editing/masking abilities have improved tremendously, I would love to collab with her. She's an incredible person and editor. I adore you, Alyvia! You're amazing! ♥ ♥
4. I'd like to get slimmer. I've been wanting to wear lolita and gothic lolita clothes for years now, as well as feel confident enough in my figure to try cosplaying someone who doesn't wear long-sleeved clothes (i.e. Vanille from Final Fantasy 13 as opposed to Sae from Fatal Frame 2, which I've done fairly successfully, actually).
5. The Sims 3: Ambitions or Late Night. I ultimately want both, but for right now, I just want one or the other. Both look like so much fun! ♥
6. To be able to make incredible YT backgrounds on my own. I love the ones that the people who are really good at them can make (like MemsNt Rain, love you and still lovin' my BG! :D), and I want to be able to do my own. Oh, the backgrounds I'd make.... ♥
7. A Snow/Lightning vid to "Illusion" by VNV Nation, by any editor I admire. I asked for this last year (though in much greater detail) and never got it, much to my disappointment. It really is my FF OTP. If it doesn't get done this year, I'll be making it myself sometime in 2011. [note: this can be substituted with making a video to a crossover couple that either I've created or that I request, should you feel like asking me which one I'd like specifically]
8. To finally be able to start ripping my own footage.
9. To eat at Mixstirs again. It's my absolute favorite place for wraps and smoothies, and there aren't any even close to where I live... D:
10. To take a trip. I've got a bad case of cabin fever, and need a good road trip with my best friends to remove it. :3

And also, a hope rather than a wish: Let Absolute Dreamscape survive! It's my baby! :O
