Current rap is okay if you just like listening to the music. There's some good beats out there and I won't deny that shit's catchy. But when I actually want to LISTEN to what an artist is saying, I go to the staples: Biggie, Pac, Wu-Tang, Nas, Eminem, early Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube. There's no greater proof against current rappers' mediocrity than just listening to their lyrics.

RZAs verse is probably the most sad, gut wrenching verse. Not sad in the bad way, the chorus just plays well right off the back of his verse. Such a good song, True story also.
