The gay animals myth is up there with holocaust denial in terms of absurdity! No good science to support it though a number of gay scientists and ideologically motivated zoo directors have tried. Just because one animal mounts another doesn't mean it's sexual. Most of the time it's an act of dominance. In other words, one male is saying to another that he gets first pick of the females.Everything in nature points towards procreation and survival. I have no position to defend except common sense.
