Michelle Kwan came back to Ice

I am getting fed up with reading Ithinkformyself's pathetic post! She is making me furious!!!! I don't want ithinkformyself to come here anymore! She is ruining Michelle Kwan's forum!!!

God how much I miss her skating. Since she "retired" there hasn't been anyone to touch her, and I don't think there ever will be another Michelle. Not with the ridiculous new scoring system where adding up points is more important than anything else.

I agree with you all. Just so happy to see her skate again. Hope to see more in the future. Love her! She is the best, period.

Incomparable. No one in figure skating is even close to matching what she has done...and it doesn't look like anyone will. I mean, 9 national titles (8 of them consecutive) 5 world titles, 2 Olympic medals...It's insane how legendary she is! It was a joy to see her back on the ice.

True..now that the scoring system has changed and Ms. Kwan can't be held up by the judges it is the end of a an era..and the beginning of a level playing field. Sasha actually earned the bronze in SLC..and check out Shelly's 1996 nationals which shot her into worlds..had that been fairly judged Kwan would never have been gone and not mega rich ...ridiculously overrated and thankfully now doing ice shows like she should have all along.

you sound like a bitter Sasha fan to me. the fact that you call Kwan overrated lets everyone know just how ignorant you are. Michelle's speed, technique, footwork, consistency and expression were unrivaled during her reign. if pulling your leg over your head won medals, Sasha would have a lot more than her 1 national title and Olympic silver medal. Luckily, back then the sport was more about technique and quality rather than flair and quantity which it's all about nowadays...so stop hating.

lol, held up 9 times Nationals....mmm doubtful, no one could fit the bill...Worlds? hmmm? 1995? nah...Olympics 1998 nah....2002 Olympics...Don't remember seeing Sasha on the podium, but I think in 2006 she was held up to finish second...and as for that new scoring system, which really no one in the skating worlds likes....Michelle only competed under it once, hurt her hip trying to learn beilmanns and other garbage to rack up points and disappeared for three years....end of an era yes

This SOOO would have been her short program! Excellent speed and steps... absolutely brilliant!

Michelle is the GREATEST skater of all time!!! The beauty, the grace, the elegance, the passion!! She really has it all!! Only she can take us to where dream become reality!!! PLEASE come back Michelle and skate in Vancouver 2010!!!!

Oh how I wish she could, but I feel sure that she made her decision for good reason. I wish I knew the reason though. It's her business and her life, so I have to respect that. I love her so much.
