  • i guess the only way to really know if the NGO is good or bad is to be involve in it

  • NGO's should document where the money goes on their website.

  • I know this is a very old post, but I thought I would put in a plug for Comapssion. They are a wonderful organization that I support (a lot) that helps children in dozens of countries world wide. If anyone is interested in knowing more, I would love to tell them about it. Or they can look up web site. Just putting that out there. I have seen the amazing work they do first hand. Yep, I have been out there... in the field... thankfully no cobras! Cheers!

  • Government welfare: 20 cents out of every dollar goes to a good cause

...and the rest goes to a *very* good cause

  • He just sniffed cocaine from this bill.

    Not much, but he did.

  • humanitarian aid...

i wounder what he would have to say on our "humanitarian" bombing ?

  • @whatyououghttoknow

I work for Concern Worldwide in Fundraising and Appreciate clearing a way through alot of the bullshit surrounding charity and NGO's Any chance you could Address the Direct debit or standing order and Regular Support method of giving to charity while letting people know how safe it is.

  • @Chuong8k7 That's one of the least efficient ways to investigate. Even if you do invest lots of your time and become involved with an NGO, you will undoubtedly only be involved in one part of it. Let's say you do somehow have access to the entire NGO and you discover its bad. Well now you just wasted your time.

  • Are you saying that they SHOULD be altruistic? That is sacrificial lambs?

  • Please check out our channel to watch a short informational video about our non-profit organization Helpers Without Limits! It would be really really appreciated. Thanks so much!

  • Local humanitarian causes also should be explored and require our involvement.

  • Socialism is nice :)
