Happy Birthday, Blitz!

Wow. I cannot begin to believe that Blitz turned one year old today! So much has happened in my life since that first moment I emailed Jan... and it has been nothing but a whirlwind of learning, fun and utter amazement at how much a small, 8 week old puppy coming into my life can change so much about me and my entire life. It is safe to say that Blitz is more than just a fabulous, smart, driven working dog.. he is sweet, gentle and a wonderful family dog as well. He is my pride and joy and has surpassed every hope and dream I ever had for my next agility dog.

This video is just a collection of special moments we've shared since he got here.... and I look back at this with happy tears in my eyes and know it was meant to be, we were meant to meet, meant to change each other and meant to show our potential together!

I cannot begin to express the gratitude I feel towards Janice DeMello for taking a chance on me and giving me a puppy more wonderful than the ones in my wildest dreams and Kim L, Rachel C, Robin C, Amy G and most especially my mom for refusing to allow me to give up on making a dream of mine come true and helping me every step of the way. I hope we've done you proud these past couple months we've spent together...

Happy Birthday, little man. You're my best friend and so much more than I deserve! Here's to many MANY more!

It made me almost cry at the start when you get him from the airport and gave him a big cuddle, just gorgeous to see <3 Blitz is a truly amazing dog and I'm so glad the connection you guys have together is so strong and loving :)

Happy birthday Blitz! It's been a joy watching you grow up, my Riot also completed her first year May 11th, 2010. I wish you and your girl the best of luck on your juroney to becoming great in the agility world, although you won't see me there because Riots decided she wants to do agility for fun and be a real disc dog instead. Maybe some flyball lingers in our future and maybe some extreme weaving, but we will just have to wait and see and watch you grow more.
