Im getting mine removed..been thinking about it for a while. My dad had MS (mouth full of amalgam) I have CFS ( mouth full of amalgam) Thats not scientific proof by a long shot but its enough for me to want to get them out

Mercury fillings are horrible don't do it, I have a plethora of health problems now, tinnitus/thyroid/weight/ etc...

I got some amalgam fillings refilled with more amalgam and they put the removed fillings into triple-sealed Bio HazMat containers.

I asked why they treated my removed fillings like some toxic poison if the amalgam that Kaiser Permanente Dental uses is so "safe?"

They said once mercury is removed from my mouth it becomes an "inert" but lethal substance and State regulations requires containment of removed fillings triple-sealed Bio-Hazard containers to prevent it from leeching to the environment.

It's poisonous, don't put it in your mouth!

I need to get mine removed but it needs to be done by a dentist who know the risks involved, the risk is that mercury can "spill" into your system if removed incorrectly.

@JackStormCrow Can you cite a controlled double-blinded scientific study that proves this? All you have is a correlation, which doesn't prove anything. For example, maybe autistic people absorb vitamin D less? This isn't true, but it is an example of his correlation does not equal causation.

@zome0101 Thanks, I didn't go to detox, my dentist assured me it wasn't (always) necessary, but she did acknowledged the danger of amalgam and she removed mine (as she does with many other clients).

@thoomie you have to go to detox therapy like chelation or you don't have to if you feel like you are recovering.
