I used this camera to film MANY great SMP Films videos including the new one that's about to come out. It has been around the world with me several times and has been very loved.

This was my first high definition camcorder. I still use it from time to time but the only reason I stopped using it was because I wanted to get into DSLRs. It's still a great camera!

My Sony VX2100:

This is the hardest camera for me to let go of because this camera LITERALLY helped make me who I am today. This camera was responsible for filming The Mean Kitty Song, every episode of my TV show "The FIZZ" which is the first TV show featuring an internet personality and it was also used by KassemG when he was starting out. This camera may not be the type of camera you'd want to use to make YouTube videos with (since it's quite outdated) but it's one lucky camera!

I'm kinda stuck between the Canon 5D Mark II & Sony VX2100 they both look great but Cory said he used the VX2100 on alot of great videos that i liked alot which kinda got me hesistant about getting the Canon.

@assassinsgreed66 I really think if you're going to be doing video then Canon is the best bet. Between Canon, Nikon and Sony - Canon blows the other two out of the water in terms of video quality and usability. If you just want pictures, it's between Nikon and Canon - Canon have a very nice range of lenses and you should be spending more on the lens than you do on the camera. I now have the Canon 60D and I love it to bits, it's such a great camera. Try before you buy though :)
