Detroit: 2 men rob and rape woman.

INKSTER, Mich. (WJBK) - Omar Washington and Shokelle McKay are accused of robbing and sexually assaulting a woman at gunpoint at an apartment on Klink Street in Inkster at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday.

A woman near her car was allegedly forced into her own home. Her 13-year-old son called 911 and set the phone down. Police say that made all the difference.

"He left the phone on the lower level and then he retreated to the upper level," said Inkster Police Lieutenant Jeff Smith. "It was a good move on his part. He should be commended for his actions."

Police say the pair started taking what they could and loading it into the woman's car outside, a car they think the men were planning on stealing.

According to the women, one of the men made her take her clothes off and engage in a sexual act while a gun was held to her head.
