funny - while everyone is squabbling over Osipova vs. Zakharova, no one seems to notice that the Bolshoi have given the Pugni music an absolutely appalling reorchestration.

But stop comparing them! They are not comparable! My favorite is Svetlana Zakharova, so what? it does not mean I do not like Natalia Osipova! She also has a excellent technique! And if there was one that was not good, the Bolshoi would not have taken, so ... Then admire the video that was because I believe that we can not criticize something if you are not able to do so ... NATALIA AND SVETLANA, LIVE YOUR PASSION!

if you hate Natalia so much why don't you stop watching her videos! and I agree with GymnasticDancer Natalia and Svetlana are both great dancers in their own ways!

While neither Osipova or Sveta are terrible in this ballet, my personal preference is Ananiashvili, in my opinion, one of the greatest bolshoi ballerinas ever!!!

gymnastic dancer i totally agree with you what i meant saying that of natalia and svetlana is that svetlana is better in soft ballets she looks delicate and natalia looks amazing in strong ballets both as you say can dance leading roles but everyone malinterpretated my comment which refred really to that i specially really loved natalia as ramze or in giselle specially act 2 natalia isn't my fav aspiccia but is a pleasure to watch her in every role as well as svetlana my fav aspiccia and giselle

What do you mean? Natalia does it just as well. Why can't people enjoy what Natalia has to offer to the dance world? She is beautiful! Her and Svetlana are such different ballerinas that they should never be compared. They both have different strengths, but both are wonderful in their own ways. And, as has been proven by Natalia's debut in Giselle, both can dominate leading roles, even if one is better suited to the other. GO NATALIA~!
