Granito de Arena Trailer

This is the trailer for "Granito de Arena" ("Grain of Sand"), a feature-length documentary I worked on a couple of years back with filmmaker Jill Freidberg. The film is about the Mexican Teacher's Movement, and I assisted, mostly in Oaxaca and Mexico City for about 3 months total, doing a bit of camera and sound and general helping out. I also did a bit of assistant editing during post-production.

Jill Freidberg is an amazingly talented political documentary filmmaker: Her other films include "This is What Democracy Looks Like," covering the Seattle WTO Protests of 1999, and the recent "Un Poquito de Tanta Verdad," about the 2006 uprising in Oaxaca. Check out her work at www.corrugate.org
