At :28 you can clearly see the bottom of the poles as well as the "Compressed Steam Batpole Lift" switches on the wall which suggests the Bat cave is only 10-12 feet below ground. Had Joker really been on the pole that long he would have seen the Bat cave several times. Still a great show and always will be.

Another thing to note is when Joker slid down the Batpole he didn't see the instant costume change switch as he went down. Or we meant to believe that was only there for the movie.

There's a mistake in the title, it should be "Flop Goes The Joker", but great video though.

@ashkwam Nope thats how they do it so nobody sees them

@eantnay Burt aka Robin and Adam Aka Batman, Alfred was making the poles and he removed the signs as when the joker avaded and he didnt know the poles as ussually has signs led to the batcave. He thought they were poles to a secret Passage. And so he got in this mess

You say in your description that he never makes it to the bat cave because Alfred uses the elevator....but the Batman directs Alfred to let him back down all the way!!
What happened to the black stenciled lettering on the wall that said Access to Batcave via Batpoles as well as the Dick and Bruce name tags on each pole?
