Amanda Lear looks just stunning here...Mugler had a way of choosing wonderfully famous women like Julie Newmar to parade in his clothes that weren't particularly models, although Amanda Lear was earlier in her career of course... and the character Patsy in Absolutely Fabulous is based in part on her.

Claudia Schiffer? In 2002, Amanda Lear told New York's Paper Magazine about a run-in she had with German supermodel Claudia Schiffer a few years before. A Hollywood movie producer had optioned Lear's book My Life With Dali and wanted Schiffer to play Lear. "I ran into Claudia at a restaurant", Lear recalls. She said, 'I love your book! Who wrote it for you?' I said, 'I did, darling. Who read it to you?' So that was the end of that. They never made the movie."

well, i had the great pleasure to see Amanda at the theater with my teacher Mr Pearl last October, she told us that story too, but i guess she said they still look for the right actress to perform this film, so i assume this film is about to be released one day...
