@varmintgetter For the unlicensed people, yes.. 500 fps is the max velocity rifle you can buy. Once you get your PAL however, you can buy and own any rifles (pellet or real deal) you want.

hey they do the test with none lead pellets they use pba pellets which shoot faster but nice vid
-
FPS could drop due to pellets. But thanks for the video.

The pellets I recommend are hunting pellets for target, not the flat nosed kind. And those go up to 2xfaster cause I shot a running squirrel about 13yrds and hit it in the neck.

is this .177? 7.9gr is a light pellet and gives higher velocity but less of a whack.I bought one of these brand new 10 months ago.It acted like a pile of shit, couldn't hit anything with it,Took it back to the shop and guess what? The barrel was bent upwards, and no, i never was responsilble for that. hmmm, anyway now they straightened it maybe i'll get some good results out of it.Got a better trigger than my BSA Comet

try PBA or blue flame. let me know the fps.

@varmintgetter Optimus should be better due to it being newer, it is also much quieter, hope that helps a little.

What is better for this gun? 10 gr or 7 gr?? I don't want it to shoot that loud because my neighbours will call the cops :P Thanks

@MaartenOwnd basically the best pellet is the one that is most accurate to be honest. Velocity is somewhat relative if you cannot get it to target. In powerplants like this, I tend to sort it out with lighter weight pellets
